1. Offer Webinars with Confidential Question and Answer sessions OR Personalised One-on-One Coaching
Every employee has unique parenting challenges. Providing opportunities to ask questions in a confidential online environment or confidential one-on-one coaching allows employees to receive personalised guidance.
Implementation Steps:
Offer virtual question and answer sessions – across the following age groups – to ensure the sessions are tailored
- Parents raising preschool-aged children (up to 5 years)
- Parents raising school-aged children (6-12 years)
- Parents raising high school-aged children (13+ years)
Provide virtual or in-person coaching sessions.
Offer flexible scheduling to accommodate different work shifts.
Include parent coaching in Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).
Best Practice: Companies offering virtual question and answer sessions and individualised parent coaching experience higher engagement in wellness programs.
Here’s what working parents have to say about attending the Win Win Parenting workplace monthly webinar support series:

Thanks, to my managers - I love these webinars. Rosina is an engaging presenter with a wealth of knowledge who does an amazing job of presenting solo while keeping up with questions from the audience - phew!
Really helpful session. I really enjoyed the polls and questions. Makes it very interactive and keeps you attentive.
Thank you! Great webinars! Great to hear your perspective. Love that the webinars are interactive - thanks for responding to the questions!
It was great. Clear communication and quickly answered any questions. Thankyou.
Very useful. Quick polls excellent. And confidentiality in asking questions. Nice to know the parenting challenges are normal!
2. Organise Regular Group Parenting Education Sessions Online or In person
Working parents and carers need more than a token one-off session. Parenting challenges continue day-in and day-out so a comprehensive program enables organisations to provide ongoing assistance to employees with families. When organisations deliver an extensive range of programs, they resource their hard-working employees with the practical support they need to thrive rather than just survive at home and at work.
Regular group training or coaching provides a support network where employees can share experiences and learn together.
Workshop Topics:
Managing screen time for kids.
Raising resilient and independent children.
Communicating effectively with teenagers.
Navigating co-parenting after separation.
Best Practice: Monthly group sessions lead to higher participation and peer learning engagement.

Very appreciative of my organisation for this opportunity, I look forward to these seminars each month! I think doing the seminar/s is a form of self-care also.
The Win Win Parenting sessions are such a valuable time each month. I really appreciate the opportunity to get all this useful information and tips.
I've really valued the regular sessions. I've attended the last few months to support my parenting and work life balance and approach to parenting more broadly. I've found the approach very non-judgmental and aligned with my values on the whole.
I so appreciate my organisation for making this available to working parents. I also really appreciate all the helpful guidance and resources in each session which I will take back to the family to help get the year started on track!
This was a very informative session and each session always motivates me.
Thanks to my managers for this program, I have found all sessions I have attended beneficial, one or two gems from each.

I have picked up new tips as well as refreshing old ones and I am grateful for the opportunity and support through work... 3. Integrate Parent Education and Parent Coaching into Well-Being Programs
HR teams can integrate parent training and coaching into broader well-being initiatives, including:
Family well-being training.
Mindfulness and stress management programs – specifically tailored for working parents.
Leadership training for working parents.
Best Practice: Companies aligning parent education programs and coaching with broader wellness efforts see an increase in program effectiveness.

Feel lucky to work in a department that is family oriented and invests in its people with sessions like this that provide extra support to guide us to navigate the work life balance. Thank you, always inspiring and engaging!
Thank you for offering this opportunity of joining this kind of webinar! Very helpful! This program is really helpful. Thank you for organising the Work and Family Support Program Schedule. It's just the right time for me to stop and reflect.
Thank you for organising and sponsoring this through work. It really helps acknowledge we are all trying to balance work and family, and we are not alone.
Thank you to my organisation. They really make a difference to my health and wellbeing. Also improving family life. Work life balance.
These sessions are wonderful in that they help deal with family challenges and help me to concentrate on my work and be more productive. Thank you so much for management for facilitating these sessions.
4. Provide Digital Learning and On-Demand Webinars
Busy employees may not always have time for live coaching sessions. Providing on-demand learning allows employees to access support when needed.
Resources to Offer:
Pre-recorded parenting webinars.
Online resource libraries with expert-led content.
Interactive Q&A sessions with family well-being experts.
Best Practice: HR teams providing flexible digital education and training as well as coaching options see an increase in participation.

I listened to the webinar as a replay as I couldn't make it live. I LOVED it! Not just helpful for parenting, but also in supporting students and colleagues in the workplace. Thank you for helping me start my day with a newfound appreciation for "choosing" to be POSITIVE :) Thank you and thank you to my managers for supporting this program!
Building Resilience - I watched the replay today and all the suggestions can be applied to my family. Thanks, to my organisation for the opportunity and the presenter for a good job of carrying the message.
Thank you to my employer. These programs lift my spirits and make me feel like I am going to do better, address situations differently, calmer, because I am going to start taking the time for self-care to make me a better person/mum. The information provided all makes sense.
I really appreciate the opportunity to attend these sessions, and the access to replays, etc. I feel that this session is very valuable to my family This is great.
Thanks so much for the very insightful and informative session. I look forward to checking the resources.
I wanted to share positive feedback and enthusiasm for the Win Win Parenting program, it is so awesome to have a resource as a parent who works full time, to get information about family related support, condensed into live webinars – which are accessible at lunchtime, and have access to recorded sessions. I would whole heartedly encourage continued availability of a program like Win Win Parenting, I have found it a fantastic resource for myself as an employee.
Measuring the Impact of Parent Coaching Programs
It’s highly stressful when working parents struggle to overcome daily parenting challenges like fussy eating, toddler or teenager emotional melt-downs, children not listening or cooperating, and the most dreaded screen time arguments. These stresses and challenges can spill over into work life and negatively impact employee wellbeing and productivity. Organisations offering parenting support can improve employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness as well as promote a family-friendly organisational culture.
To assess the effectiveness of parent training and coaching, HR should track:
Employee engagement levels before and after program implementation.
Feedback on sessions – qualitative and quantitative
Absenteeism rates due to family-related stress.
Employee retention rates among working parents.
Satisfaction scores from post-training and post-coaching surveys.
Best Practice: Businesses that track HR metrics linked to work-life balance programs report an increase in workplace productivity.
Here’s what working parents have to say about attending the Win Win Parenting workplace monthly webinar support series:
Having my employer provide these webinars has shown me the support the department is committed to giving me as an employee. The webinars have helped my family and I by giving me tools to communicate effectively with two teenage boys. It has also provided me with the head space, tools and refresher, on things that I can do to be more productive and effective at home, which then makes my work life more manageable and less stressful. Thank you to my managers and Win Win Parenting.
Very informative, the things that were suggested were achievable. The presenter had life experience. She made us feel like we are not alone and relate issue with each other. She would ask if anyone else had any questions and provided feedback on them which I really liked.
This was very useful. Best routine advice I have heard and can see how even the smallest change will help.
The webinar is giving me tools how to deal with my teenage daughter with their challenges. This has resulted to a better and healthier relationship. This allows me to focus more at work.
Thanks so much for your time yesterday, it was a great session. From someone who likes to deal with a problem on the spot and then move on, I will certainly be applying the 2-step approach going forward 😊
Conclusion
Parent coaching is a powerful tool that enhances employee productivity, well-being, and retention. By investing in workplace parenting education, family well-being training, and work-life balance programs, organisations create a more engaged, resilient, and high-performing workforce.
